The sky is grey and sullen, sorrow -
There's no today and no tomorrow.
The world exists of only grey
Misty remnants of yesterday -
A landscape littered with broken dreams
And shattered hearts that split their seams.
Hot tears that scald the flesh drip down
And turn to ashes on the ground.
This world is empty, naked, barren
Of any feeling, love, or caring -
Only jagged rock and cutting stones;
And of mankind, just broken bones.
Over the mountains - jagged, stark -
The bitter blood red sun sets dark.
